Positioning of the observations Equipment Devices for geophysical observations positioning Field GPS receiver Juno 3D Satellite navigation receiver Trimble Juno 3D is used to bind the points of geophysical observations, the ground geophysical route planning and laying. The data collection and processing run on the Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 operating system. Data processing is performed using TerraSync or Trimble GPS Correct, which is an extension for Esri ArcPad software. For correction of observations WAAS free differential signal is used. The accuracy of positioning in post processing mode is better than 3 m, in real-time differential correction up to 5 m. Mobile satellite receiver GPS-GLONASS LS2303x-G The mobile receiver LS2303x-G provides reception of signals from satellites of the global positioning systems GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO and QZSS and correction of the coordinates using one of WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS services, thereby increasing of simultaneously visible satellites number in places with difficult view of the sky and, consequently, increases the reliability and stability of the solution of geodetic tasks. The receiver is characterized by ultra-low power consumption, low cold start time, high data refresh rate (up to 10 Hz), high strength and water resistance. Data output protocol is NMEA 183. The receiver is used with geophysical equipment in continuous profile observations (ground-penetrating radar, seismoacoustic profiling, sonar surveying). Visualization of observation lines is performed by specialized software modules that are part of the data collection programs of individual geophysical methods.
